The Florida State University system is set to close all of its campuses in 2018.
The Florida Department of Education announced the move in a statement on Wednesday.
The school district also will have to vacate a few buildings, which will include the school of business, business administration, arts, and communications.
The department said the closures will occur beginning July 30, 2018.
All schools are expected to close by the end of the month.
The announcement comes a few days after Florida Governor Rick Scott announced the closing of all public schools in the state.
He had previously said he would shutter all schools.
